A Successful SMOPYC 2026

Omega Crushing & Screening would like to thank everyone who took the time to visit us at SMOPYC 2026 in Zaragoza, Spain.

Held from 15th–18th April 2026, SMOPYC once again proved to be one of Europe’s leading exhibitions for construction, quarrying, mining, and recycling equipment. The event provided an excellent opportunity for the Omega team to meet with customers, dealers, industry professionals, and new contacts from across Spain and the wider European market.

A Fantastic Week in Zaragoza

Representing Omega at the exhibition were Colin Daly, Sales Director, and Aine Kelly, Marketing Manager, who spent the week meeting visitors, discussing industry challenges, and showcasing Omega’s innovative crushing and screening solutions.

The stand welcomed a steady flow of visitors throughout the event, creating valuable opportunities to strengthen existing relationships and introduce Omega’s products to new customers looking for efficient, cost-effective crushing solutions.

Growing Interest in Electric Crushing Technology

One of the key talking points throughout the exhibition was the growing demand for more sustainable and efficient equipment within the crushing and screening sector.

Visitors showed significant interest in Omega’s electric crushing technology, particularly the benefits of reduced fuel consumption, lower operating costs, and improved environmental performance. These conversations reinforced the industry’s increasing focus on productivity, efficiency, and long-term operating savings.

Working Alongside Our Spanish Dealer Network

SMOPYC also provided an excellent opportunity to strengthen Omega’s presence within the Spanish market.

Throughout the exhibition, the Omega team worked closely with our official Spanish dealer, ARJUN-MAQUINARIA E EQUIPAMENTOS LDA, helping to support customers and demonstrate Omega’s commitment to providing local expertise and aftersales support throughout the region.

The collaboration highlighted the importance of strong dealer partnerships in delivering the highest level of service to customers across Europe.
